What is it like being a Travel Trainer?

Our Travel Trainers tell their stories

Michelle

Michelle was Norfolk’s first Travel Trainer. Her highlight so far was meeting her first young person and seeing his excitement, and she can’t wait to help him realise his potential!

Jaki

Jaki structures her training with weekly plans for the young person to follow and always ask for their feedback. She says this is the most rewarding job of her career so far!

Hasnain

Hasnain plans the training for the young people he works with, and they progress through it at the individual’s own pace. Hasnain enjoys speaking with the school, local councils and parents too as part of his role.

Jacky

Jacky knows that the rapport she builds with the young people is a vital part of the training. She is happy that she can help them develop their skills and grow in confidence.

Stephen C

Stephen likes building positive working relationships with the young people he trains, and watching the transformation in them as they grow in confidence. He knows it changes their lives!

Stephen A

Stephen always makes sure that his trainees feel they can ask any questions they need to or feedback any concerns that they have. He enjoys seeing young people achieving their goals.
